Whistler Restaurants Highly Recommended by us or our Guests:
Please email us with your recommendations, you must have dined at the
restaurant within the last 30 days, no employee submissions! restaurant@whistlerinns.com
Restaurants may add menus to our list, please email me.
- CARAMBA- Mediterranean Cuisine, open kitchen, wood burning
pizza oven, great food all the time. The service is almost always great (They are getting
so popular that your food may take a while on busy evenings) but it's well worth the wait.
Try the grilled Calamari. Believe it or not, the prices here are even reasonable! In the
Village North beside the New Delta Suites Hotel and the Gazebo Square. Reservations
recommended. Caramba will be noisy on any busy night (most nights!)(604) 938 1879
- SUSHI-YA- Japanese (no kidding Sherlock!) but not just sushi. A varied menu will keep
even the kids happy. You don't have to eat raw fish if you don't want to. The service we
had was great and the sushi was among the best I have tried. Try the Soft Shelled Crab
Roll, a little expensive but well worth it. Not always busy (not for long I'm sure)
because it's a little out of the way, above McDonalds in the Marketplace square.
- THE BREWHOUSE PUB- Good food and good beer. Three or four beers brewed on premise make
this a worthwhile stop. Restaurant and pub style service available. On Blackcomb way, with
the big hopper in front, on the edge of the new creek flowing through Village North.
- GARIBALDI LIFT CO. (aka: GLC)- Try the criss-cross fries with the warm gorgonzola sauce-
sex on a plate- YUMMY. Great location on the top of the Whistler Gondola Building and not
too noisy or smoky. Live music some evenings. Meals and bar snacks available. Nice views
and a great deck in the summer.
- ARAXI'S- Great menu, wine list,
dessert menu, service, ambiance, Sommelier and Maitre D' etc. One of our favourites for
higher end Italian. Located in the Village Square. Reservations Recommended
- LA RUA- the best Whistler has to offer in fine dining. Located in Blackcomb Village
- RIMROCK CAFE- Always good, Great seafood and great service. Upscale restaurant, always a
guest favourite. Located near Creekside, just near the highway
- JOEL'S AT NIKOLAUS NORTH- Great view of Green Lake and the Mountains in behind it. Food
can be good to average. Located at Nikolaus North Golf Course Clubhouse
- VAL D'ISERE- Gourmet French fine dining. One of the ten best meals
I've ever had was our anniversary dinner here. Highly recommended.
- Edgewater Lodge-
Many great comments from guests and locals who have eaten here. Intimate dining room with
fantastic views of Green Lake and the Dual Mts in the background. Located on Green Lake
across the highway from the Meadow Park Sports Centre.
- CEDAR SPRINGS B&B LODGE-
According to our guests, "the best breakfasts that we've ever had", "North
America's best Tiramisu" (my own bragging), "Great food, service and
hospitality, can we move in?" (Mom and Dad); "Our only complaint is that you
didn't cook your wonderful dinners every night!" (hey...we have to have a few hours
off every week...no dinner if the Canucks are losing...I mean playing!) We have guest
comment books in every room full of accolades from our guests. Come and taste for
yourselves, breakfasts, lunches and dinners available.
We've had positive comments on the following restaurants as well:
- La Rua- Italian, Upper Village;
- Thai One On - Thai, Upper Village;
- The Wildflower - Chateau Whistler;
- Las Margaritas - Mexican, Creekside;
- Creekside Grillroom (Hoz's).
